Meet Liam Lonsdale – Speedland Athlete

Liam found his love for the mountains at a young age, growing up spending the weekends exploring the iconic English Lake District with his family. At 18 he left home to relocate to those very mountains and spent the next decade pursuing his passions of fell-running and rock climbing in the area.

A 16 year veteran of the outdoor and adventure sports industry, Liam combines his passion for the outdoors with his creative talents as a photographer and a presenter, shooting athletes and hosting events around the globe. Now based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a small family, Liam can most often be found chasing FKT’s, as well as exploring some of the less frequented corners of the trails that surround him. He has yet to be tempted into toeing the line of an organized race.

Liam describes joining Speedland as a significant moment in his running career. After a long partnership with a well-established brand, Liam joins looking for a performance driven, no-compromise approach. Of the partnership, Liam says:
